About The Position

Fausak Tires & Service is a full-service auto center that has served customers since 1962, emphasizing investment in its facilities, equipment, personnel, employees, customers, and community.

The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive service repairs, including oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and flushes. The technician works alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians and receives training intended to support career advancement and potential ASE certification. Compensation is $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to drive based on an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) screening.
• Must be able to work Monday through Saturday.
• Must have a high level of motivation and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive experience is preferred.
• Passion for cars.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using a company vehicle.
• Pick up parts, supplies, tires, and other items from vendors or the corporate office using a company vehicle.
• Operate the company vehicle safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections ethically and in accordance with company and state guidelines.
• Perform tire mounting and dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotations.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Observe vehicle condition while performing basic services and report obvious needed repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Use the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior of the building.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
