As an Automotive Field Representative supporting the Southern Region of the United States, you will be a trusted advisor to OEM field staff and automotive dealership partners. This client-facing, field-based role involves consultative selling, strategic account management, and data-driven insights to grow revenue, strengthen dealer relationships, increase program enrollment, and deliver solutions that create measurable business value. The role requires frequent travel, approximately 65% to 75% of the time, typically three out of four weeks per month, to support dealer engagement, client meetings, field activities, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, BA or BS, from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior sales experience.
  • Required automotive industry experience, including strong knowledge of automotive retail operations, dealership environments, and OEM programs.
  • Significant experience in the marketing services industry.
  • Proven sales process, including the ability to overcome objections and move opportunities forward.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Proven success achieving revenue and quota-bearing goals through client retention, account expansion, consultative selling, and strategic business development.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and business opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to make effective, engaging, and persuasive speeches or presentations on complex topics.
  • Confident influencing decision-makers and driving action across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and territory planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Comfortable traveling frequently throughout the Southern Region of the United States.
  • Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned OEM field staff and dealership partners.
  • Define, communicate, and manage client requirements, program updates, operational changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and business insights to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges, and deliver recommendations that drive enrollment, dealer performance, client success, and revenue growth.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, retention, enrollment, and quota-based performance objectives through consultative selling and strategic account management.
  • Identify, develop, and close incremental revenue opportunities through account expansion, cross-sell initiatives, and new program adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, general managers, fixed operations leaders, and OEM field personnel.
  • Act as a Dealer Services Group subject matter expert, providing guidance, education, and strategic consultation to dealers and OEM stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans designed to increase dealer engagement, program enrollment, retention, and overall business performance.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to uncover dealer needs, identify business challenges, and recommend solutions that create measurable value.
  • Proactively monitor dealer performance, enrollment trends, and market conditions to identify risks, opportunities, and growth strategies.
  • Lead the rollout of new products, service offerings, and program enhancements to dealers and OEM field teams.
  • Conduct dealer meetings, performance reviews, business consultations, and training sessions in both individual and group settings.
  • Support regional, field, and national OEM meetings as the Dealer Services Group representative.
  • Partner closely with internal sales, operations, program management, and leadership teams to coordinate enrollment, retention, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Research industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients and leadership.
  • Manage dealer retention efforts, conflict resolution, and escalation management while maintaining strong client and dealer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of dealer activities, opportunities, pipeline development, and business outcomes.
  • Travel 65% to 75% of the time to support dealer engagement, field activities, client meetings, and business development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
