Requirements

• Previous automotive service or technician experience preferred
• ASE certification is a plus
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR check

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and basic automotive services according to repair orders and dealership procedures
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and replacements, inspections, and other preventative maintenance services
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Properly document work performed and communicate any concerns to the Service Advisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures
• Operate shop equipment and electronic diagnostic equipment as needed
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Perform other duties as assigned
