About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Express Lane Technician at Napleton Lexus of Wayzata. The technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance according to dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. The role is part of a growing automotive dealership group affiliated with more than 25 vehicle brands and over 50 dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Prior experience as a lube technician, technician's helper, or apprentice.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Replace front and rear differential fluids.
Replace brake fluid.
Replace transfer cable fluids.
Replace engine coolant.
Mount, balance, and/or repair tires.
Perform wheel alignments.
Replace windshield washer and coolant overflow containers.
Replace fuel filters and/or elements.
Replace body moldings, scripts, and emblems.
Replace bulbs that do not require major component removal.
Test batteries using a handheld tester.
Clean and replace batteries and/or cables.
Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Build customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in Napleton.
