About The Position

Auto Electricians work on up-fitting a wide range of truck and utility equipment, spanning from Vans to Class 8/9 Trucks. They should have experience in assembling and installing equipment and products in accordance with standard operating procedures. Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble/install equipment and products. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner. Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Always work in a safe manner. Be self-starting with basic vehicle electrical knowledge. Learn/follow established company electrical guidelines. Be proficient at troubleshooting simple electrical installations. Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge and experience of 12-volt electrical diagnostics and wiring.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions.
  • A team-player with a good work ethic (courteous, flexible punctual and professional).
  • A level-headed, detail-oriented and safety conscientious individual.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year or less of work-related experience or education.
  • Knowledge and experience of installing electrical equipment.
  • Eligible to work in the US.
  • Must pass background checks.

Responsibilities
