About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 8795 Cuyamaca St, Santee, CA 92071-4253. The starting pay is $19.00 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. Available schedules are Sunday 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch, assisting customers, and potentially transporting customers to and from branches. Enterprise Mobility operates rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and other transportation services through its brands and regional subsidiaries.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, bathrooms, and lots; vacuum and sweep as needed.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
