About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer at its Yakima, Washington location. The position pays $18.50 per hour initially, with pay ranging from $18.50 to $19.75 per hour based on length of service. The role helps uphold high cleanliness standards by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The work also includes fueling and staging vehicles, maintaining the branch’s appearance, and assisting or transporting customers when needed. The employee must be available within the branch’s stated operating hours, which include weekdays, weekends, and Sunday hours.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license with no more than two civil moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Have held a valid U.S. driver's license for at least one year.
Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
