About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Santa Barbara Airport location. The role is responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals in accordance with high cleanliness and safety standards. The position requires a current, valid driver's license and open availability for a 40-hour workweek, including holidays, nights, and weekends, with the schedule determined by shift bid. The starting rate is $19.25 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek. No airport clearance is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current, valid driver's license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have open availability to work 40 hours per week, including holidays, nights, and weekends, apart from religious observances.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment is working, including lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors, and back-up lights.
Inspect vehicles for unidentified body damage.
Clean exterior and interior windows and mirrors, and vacuum the interior, floor, seats, ashtray, and trunk.
Provide positive customer service, including greetings and assistance with luggage and personal belongings where applicable.
Place items found in vehicles in lost and found.
Direct drivers to drop-off locations as necessary.
Drive vehicles from drop-off points to the service area, through the car wash, and to the ready line as necessary.
Refuel vehicles and log the identification number, fuel needed, and mileage.
Ensure each key tag is correctly marked with the VIN or unit number and license plate number.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Complete out-of-service tags and ensure vehicles are moved to the maintenance area.
Identify vehicles eligible for turnback or flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance, and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
