About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its Santa Barbara Airport location. The starting pay is $19.25 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek. The role requires a current, valid driver's license and open availability for a flexible schedule based on a shift bid, including nights, weekends, and holidays, except for religious observances. The Automotive Detailer helps uphold cleanliness and safety standards by washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The position also involves checking vehicle condition and safety equipment, assisting customers when applicable, moving and refueling vehicles, and maintaining an orderly work area.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current, valid driver's license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have open availability to work 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends, except for religious observances.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment is working, including lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors, and backup lights.
Inspect vehicles for unidentified body damage.
Clean exterior and interior windows and mirrors, and vacuum the interior, floor, seats, ashtray, and trunk.
Provide positive customer service, including greetings and assistance with luggage and personal belongings where applicable.
Place items found in vehicles in lost and found and direct drivers to drop-off locations as necessary.
Drive vehicles from the drop-off point to the service area, through the car wash, and to the ready line as necessary.
Refuel vehicles and log the identification number, fuel needed, and mileage.
Ensure key tags are marked with the correct VIN or unit number and license plate number.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Complete out-of-service tags and ensure vehicles are moved to the maintenance area.
Identify vehicles eligible for turnback or flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance, and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
