About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while meeting the company’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role is based at 3961 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507-2914, pays $17.00 per hour, and is based on a 25-hour workweek. Multiple schedules are available. The position also supports the cleanliness and appearance of the branch, assists customers when needed, and may involve transporting customers to and from branches. Enterprise Mobility describes itself as a provider of mobility services, operating rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and travel management businesses through its brands and affiliates.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from prep processing when necessary.
Maintain an orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot; vacuum and sweep as needed.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
