About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at the Grand Junction Airport in Grand Junction, Colorado. The position pays $18 per hour and follows a schedule of 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, with Wednesday and Thursday off. The role focuses on washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The Automotive Detailer also helps maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the work area and branch, assists customers as needed, and may transport customers to and from branches.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related driving conviction (DWI/DUI) in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work-authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have at least twelve consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including general cleaning of branch interiors and exteriors.
Clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; remove trash; vacuum and sweep the lot; and complete other daily branch-cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
