About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer at its North Q Street location in Pensacola, Florida. The starting pay is $15 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek. The role focuses on washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday off, and alternating Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The position also involves checking vehicles for safety and readiness, fueling and staging vehicles, maintaining the branch’s appearance and work areas, and assisting or transporting customers when needed. Enterprise Mobility operates several rental and mobility brands and manages a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
Have no more than one excessive speeding violation (26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on the driving record within the last three years.
Have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
Have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
Be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors.
Clean desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; empty trash; vacuum and sweep the lot; and perform other daily branch-cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
