About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer to clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, following high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 341 E 233rd St., Bronx, NY 10470. The starting pay is $18.75 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek, with the opportunity for yearly merit increases based on performance. The posted schedule is Sunday and Wednesday off; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the branch, assisting customers, and potentially transporting customers to and from branches.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment-based work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than one hour from the location.
Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify vehicle registration.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from processing when necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
