About The Position
The Automotive Detail Technician cleans and reconditions vehicles to meet customer requirements and the organization’s service standards. Duties include washing vehicles, cleaning interiors, applying wax and protective sealant, refurbishing headlights, and inspecting vehicles before delivery. The role also involves maintaining service tools and equipment and performing other assigned duties. Work is primarily performed in a garage or outdoor environment as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. The technician may be required to work at nearby job sites. Weekend availability is required. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.

Responsibilities
- Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
- Remove trash from vehicle interiors and clean upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or buff surfaces with a cloth or buffing machine to protect surfaces and preserve shine.
- Apply protective sealant.
- Refurbish headlights.
- Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
- Understand and meet customers’ specific requirements.
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
- Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
