About The Position
The Automotive Detail Technician cleans, refurbishes, and prepares vehicles, including washing vehicle exteriors, cleaning interiors, applying wax and protective sealant, and refurbishing headlights. The role involves inspecting vehicles thoroughly before delivery, maintaining service tools and equipment, and providing service that meets organizational standards and customer requirements. Work is team-based in a fast-paced garage or outdoor environment. The technician may be required to work at nearby job sites. Weekend availability is required. Requirements
- Previous detailing experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.

Responsibilities
- Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
- Remove trash from vehicle interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or buff surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
- Apply protective sealant.
- Refurbish headlights.
- Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
- Understand and meet specific customer requirements.
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
- Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
