About The Position

The Automotive Detail Technician cleans and reconditions vehicles, including washing exteriors, cleaning interiors, applying wax and protective sealant, and refurbishing headlights. The role also includes inspecting vehicles before delivery, maintaining service tools and equipment, and delivering service that meets organizational standards and customers’ specific requirements. Duties are primarily performed in a garage or outdoors in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Work at nearby job sites may be required, and weekend availability is requested.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles using a pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Remove interior trash and clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply wax and buff vehicle surfaces to protect them and preserve their shine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights.
• Maintain the organization’s service standards and quality.
• Understand and meet customers’ specific requirements.
• Thoroughly inspect vehicles before delivery.
• Maintain the proper function of service tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
