About The Position

Douglas Motors is seeking a friendly, professional Customer Support Representative to call customers after their vehicle service appointments and help ensure a positive service experience. Following up by phone after a service visit is a common customer service responsibility, and dealership customer service roles often include post-service calls and appointment-related follow-up. The work time is 3:00 p.m. to close, three hours a day, Monday through Friday, in person at Douglas Infiniti, 430 Morris Ave. Summit, NJ 07901. Must know how to use a computer, Google Docs, and email.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers, listening carefully, and responding with patience and empathy.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday through Friday consistently during assigned hours.
  • Professional demeanor in an in-person dealership environment.
  • Proficiency with Google Docs for entering and updating customer notes.
  • Confident using email for communication with customers and internal staff.
  • Strong typing skills with accurate data entry while handling calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service, call center, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Call customers after their service appointments to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback on their experience.
  • Ask brief, structured follow-up questions and document customer responses clearly and accurately.
  • Answer basic questions about the service visit and direct more complex concerns to the appropriate service advisor or manager.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and upbeat phone presence with every customer interaction.
  • Track call outcomes, record notes, and help management identify customer service trends or issues.
  • Follow dealership procedures, call scripts, and daily outreach schedules provided by management.
