About The Position

Pat Milliken Ford is hiring an experienced Automotive Collision Center Painter to work at its Redford, Michigan dealership. The painter prepares vehicles and surfaces, mixes and matches paint, applies automotive coatings using professional spray equipment, and inspects completed work for finish quality and color consistency. The position works with collision repair technicians and other team members to meet production deadlines, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area and following safety procedures and paint manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Previous professional automotive painting experience is required.
• Knowledge of collision repair refinishing techniques and paint application.
• Experience with paint mixing, color matching, and spray equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and surface preparation.
