About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter to perform paint operations at its Service Center in Morrow. The role includes preparing color tint to match paint color, mixing paint colors, and ensuring formulations, preparation, top coating, curing, application sequence, timing, and material usage meet OEM-recommended standards. The Automotive Painter also ensures paint operations are complete, masking is removed, and paint-related disassembly is reassembled before returning the vehicle to the body technician.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Auto Body certificate.
ASE certification in refinishing.

Responsibilities

Prepare color tint to match paint color.
Mix paint colors and ensure formulations and preparations meet OEM-recommended standards.
Apply top coating and curing in accordance with OEM-recommended application sequence, timing, and materials usage.
Ensure all paint operations are complete and all masking is removed.
Reassemble prior paint-related disassembly before returning the vehicle to the body technician.
