Automotive Claims Specialist
About The Position
At CareGard Warranty Services, we are seeking automotive professionals to transition their hands-on industry knowledge into a stable, professional office environment. This role is desk-based as a Claims Adjuster in our Grapevine call center. You will review mechanical repair claims, determine contract coverage, and communicate directly over the phone with repair facilities to authorize payments. We are looking for individuals with experience as a Service Advisor, Parts Specialist, Warranty Administrator, or Service Technician, who have knowledge of vehicle repairs and automotive systems.
Requirements
- Automotive industry experience required.
- Knowledge of vehicle repairs and automotive systems.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to work onsite in Grapevine, TX.
Nice To Haves
- Service Advisor, Parts, Warranty, or Technician experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) employees.
Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate claims according to contract terms and ancillary policy coverage.
- Verify submitted repair claims and confirm eligibility for coverage.
- Process approved claims and document all activity within the claims management system.
- Communicate with repair facilities regarding repairs, diagnostics, coverage questions, and claim payments.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding claims and coverage.
- Work closely with other adjusters and departments to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, spreadsheets, and follow-up activities.
- Deliver professional, knowledgeable, and courteous customer service throughout the claims process.
