About The Position

Flexcar is hiring an onsite Automotive C Technician / Mechanic in Marietta. This full-time, non-exempt role performs basic mechanical and cosmetic repairs on fleet vehicles under minimal supervision, following company policies and procedures. Technicians help ensure customer safety and work with a range of vehicle models while supporting the site team. Flexcar describes the role as suitable for recent automotive technology graduates, automotive repair professionals, and automotive maintenance specialists.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record under company standards.
Ability to carry tools and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of automotive repair experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Identify, order, and maintain the correct supplies and parts needed to service vehicles.
Properly use hand tools, chemicals, and shop equipment.
Perform basic mechanical repairs, including oil changes, tire changes and rotations, battery installations, air filter replacements, light bulb replacements, and windshield wiper exchanges.
Perform mechanical inspections, including tire and visual brake inspections, underbody damage inspections, and suspension shake-downs to assess ball-joint and tie-rod issues.
Follow Flexcar standard operating procedures.
Keep the workplace free of hazards in accordance with 5S standards.
Review work orders for accuracy of work performed and parts installed.
Use computers and internal and external technology systems to complete daily assignments.
Assist with onboarding new associates by sharing knowledge and being a good team player.
Support other associates and managers as needed.
Complete all work within standardized cycle times.
