About The Position

DARCARS of Silver Spring is looking for an Automotive Business Development Representative (BDC) / Internet Sales to join their team. This role serves as the digital bridge between the dealership and customers, guiding them through needs analysis, providing information, answering questions, and connecting them with an in-store sales manager. The position requires nurturing inbound prospects, ensuring follow-up, and providing an exceptional customer experience. This is not a remote-eligible position.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer savvy
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
High energy, positive attitude, and a team-first mentality
Ability to multi-task and manage leads efficiently
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays
Must be at least eighteen years of age

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call center environments
Automotive experience a plus, but not necessary – we provide full training!
CRM experience (e.g., DriveCentric, VinSolutions, Elead)

Responsibilities

Pull and manage leads through our CRM
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, text, chat, or email
Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact on products, services, and the DARCARS brand
Convert online interest into in-store appointments
Follow communication scripts to maintain consistency and quality
Log all customer interactions in real-time
Build strong working relationships with dealership personnel
Meet or exceed performance goals, including response time and conversion metrics
Learn and train with the manufacturer to become an expert
