About The Position

Carolinas Collision Center of Greensboro is seeking a seasoned Automotive Body Shop Estimator to join its collision repair team. The estimator assesses vehicle damage, prepares accurate estimates, and coordinates with customers, technicians, and insurance providers. The role calls for attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping customers understand and navigate the repair process.

Requirements

At least five years of hands-on estimating experience, as stated in the job introduction.
Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator in the automotive repair industry is preferred.
Familiarity with estimating software.
Comprehensive understanding of automotive repair processes, parts, and materials.
Proficiency with estimating software and standard office applications.
Ability to explain technical details to customers clearly and understandably.
Must pass pre-employment background screenings.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
Explain repair processes and estimate details to customers clearly and comprehensibly.
Collaborate with insurance adjusters to discuss estimates and negotiate repair costs.
Work with the repair team to communicate repair requirements and clarify the scope of work.
Maintain organized and accurate records of estimates, customer communications, and insurance-related documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
