The position will include overseeing a team of BDC associates who will handle incoming phone calls/internet leads and contact existing customers to increase customer appointments and sales opportunities. Candidates must be honest, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on the highest customer service standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Automotive BDC Management experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, Holidays, and evenings
  • Strong appointment setting, objection handling skills, and closing skills
  • Proven leadership and the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • CRM experience, eLeads experience a plus
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, motivating, counseling, and monitoring the performance of the BDC department
  • Assisting individual BCD associates in setting monthly sales goals
  • Tracking all customers to ensure prompt response time and monitoring follow-up within the CRM
  • Ensure that all BDC associates meet or exceed all activity standards for phone calls and appointments.
  • Participate in team & process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management
  • Handling incoming internet leads and setting appointments
  • Stay up-to-date on manufacturer training
  • Provide monthly performance and activity reporting
