Midas - Automotive Assistant & Service Managers
About The Position
Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee and now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time Assistant and Service Managers for its service, repair, and tire center in Aurora, Colorado. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in operating a Midas retail location efficiently, safely, and effectively. The role applies leadership skills to enforce policies, procedures, and standards; schedule mechanics' and technicians' work; manage outside orders; ensure jobs are completed to a high standard and on time; meet customer expectations; and protect team-member safety. The Service Manager helps customers select tires and recommends necessary under-car repairs. The role directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians, stages vehicle repair and maintenance work, and helps ensure timely, high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Service Managers also support sales initiatives, communicate with customers, assess their needs, explain requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, and work to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in ensuring the retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively.
- Enforce established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Schedule mechanics' and technicians' work and manage outside orders.
- Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and support team-member safety.
- Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services.
- Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians.
- Stage vehicle repair and maintenance work.
- Drive sales initiatives and communicate directly with customers about their needs and requested or necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations.
