About The Position
Jim Shorkey Gainesville Mazda is seeking an experienced, driven Automotive Acquisition Sales Specialist to acquire vehicles directly from customers in the service drive. The role supports inventory expansion and the dealership’s growth strategy in a fast-paced service department that handles approximately 80–100 customer repair orders daily.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales, acquisition, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and assess vehicle values.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with dealership management software and tools.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to acquire vehicles from service customers.
- Build and maintain customer relationships to facilitate vehicle acquisitions.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to integrate acquisition strategies.
- Analyze market trends and vehicle values to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Manage paperwork and documentation for acquired vehicles.
- Develop strategies to maximize acquisition success and meet inventory goals.
