We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Product Owner within the Automation and Workflow Solutions Team. This pivotal role is responsible for spearheading transformative change and executing strategic initiatives that are crucial for risk mitigation and enhancing operational efficiencies. The Product Owner will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging advanced technologies to design, build and deliver platform solutions. Requirements

  • Demonstrates a self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of leading project activities and driving results.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex projects for senior leadership and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, adept at managing ambiguity, synthesizing data, and providing innovative solutions to both tactical and strategic challenges.
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent initiatives, with experience in Agile or application development methodologies, and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and creating business requirements.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, capable of gaining consensus across multiple teams to drive execution and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in software or product implementation, product owner roles, consulting, or similar fields.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a bridge between business, product, User Experience, and technology teams to deliver platform solutions and create new processes.
  • Own business requirements and user stories, translating stakeholder needs into well-crafted backlog items. Collaborate closely with agile squads to refine, prioritize, and deliver high-value features through sprint planning and execution.
  • Own backlog refinement and sprint planning; clearly articulate requirements to squad and program stakeholders and drive timely delivery of key features.
  • Lead business process transformation initiatives, identify high-impact opportunities, and craft compelling business cases demonstrating strong ROI potential.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to define detailed technology requirements; carry out testing to confirm quality of features delivered.
  • Critically evaluate and optimize existing processes and technology solutions to address the needs of key business stakeholders.
  • Map and refine critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes to align with strategic objectives and meet user and business requirements.
  • Champion strategic change efforts from ideation through post-launch—managing requirements gathering, conducting impact analysis, overseeing user testing, executing rollout plans, and monitoring success metrics.
