About The Position

Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking an Automation Test Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support backend quality initiatives, troubleshoot failures, and optimize test automation practices. Familiarity with automation frameworks, scripting languages, and database tools will be beneficial. Experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar automation suites will enable you to effectively validate data and navigate backend testing workflows. Exposure to batch processing tools, data migration utilities, and backend monitoring solutions is highly valuable for this role.

Requirements

Ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for backend systems and processes
Experience performing manual testing as needed to ensure complete test coverage
Hands-on experience testing and validating batch processing jobs and workflows
Ability to identify, document, and track defects with clear communication of issues
Experience collaborating effectively with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve product quality
Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph
