About The Position

This position requires proficiency in operating various machinery including lathe, milling machine, drill press, and grinder. The role involves reverse engineering small parts, welding (TIG and MIG), reading and interpreting blueprints and various measuring devices (gauges, calipers, indicators, micrometers), and performing operations such as cutting, squaring, milling, taping, and boring. The technician will work with all types of metal and plastic.

Requirements

• Training beyond high school including either an Associate (A.S.) degree in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience which may include skilled trades programs or military training.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field
• Some experience in electrical and mechanical required
• Standard computer skills
• Strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques
• Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all team members
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Industrial maintenance or automation experience preferred
