Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
4+ years’ experience
Mechanic certification and completion of a Technical School, Vocational School, or Community College
Varies depending on job site travel
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to operate and interpret results from a variety of diagnostic tools.
Highly proficient in automated and mechanical systems maintenance.
Skilled in troubleshooting automation, electronic, and mechanical control systems.
Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)
Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience in process instrumentation and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Perform all levels of maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and upgrades on automated and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose automation equipment, mechanical system failures, and electronic control issues with minimal supervision.
Operate diagnostic tools and reference materials to identify and resolve problems effectively.
Optimize equipment performance through proactive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments.
Coordinate equipment, parts, and job requirements with supervisors and managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery for projects.
Load/unload, inspect, and prepare equipment for transport and job site use.
Perform routine maintenance on pumps, forklifts, cranes, trailers, and related equipment.
Support rig up/rig down operations and assist field personnel when needed.
Complete all required documentation including JSAs, maintenance forms, near-hit reports, and incident investigations.
Maintain compliance with company, client, and industry safety and environmental policies, initiating hazard recognition and corrective actions as necessary.
Source and coordinate materials, parts, and services from vendors, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
Provide training, guidance, and technical support to less experienced personnel.
Stay current on advanced pump, automation theory, SCADA, and process instrumentation.
Maintain shop work areas in a clean, organized, and secure condition.
