About The Position
Rinvio is hiring an Automation Tech / PLC Tech for an industrial skilled-trades role in the Davenport, IA market. This is an hourly contract role; exact client and site details are shared only with qualified candidates. The primary scope includes PLC troubleshooting, automation support, instrumentation, drives, HMI support, and plant controls reliability. Rinvio will keep the first conversation direct: role scope, pay, schedule expectations, location expectations, and fit for the hiring team.
Requirements
- PLC, automation, industrial controls, or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Hands-on troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, or similar controls platforms
- Able to read schematics, work safely around production equipment, and communicate clearly with plant teams
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, control panels, and automated production equipment.
- Support downtime response, preventive maintenance, controls changes, documentation updates, and startup support.
- Work with electricians, mechanics, engineering, operations, and vendors to resolve automation issues quickly.
