Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
  • 1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
  • Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the maintenance and sanitation team on site to ensure service levels meet technical requirements.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance and repairs on all relevant equipment on site, utilizing Fiix CMMS software.
  • Direct and lead the daily functions of the maintenance teams.
  • Conduct and assist in training and ongoing development opportunities for the team.
  • Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.
  • Ensure all equipment, including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, and oxygen reduction systems, is used and maintained according to supplier guidelines.
  • Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Work within budgeted guidelines and achieve agreed KPIs.
  • Follow the maintenance plan efficiently to ensure minimal impact on operations while meeting supplier guidelines.
  • Direct and lead the sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and/or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
  • Complete internal reporting and communication as required by the Site Manager.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all equipment and contracts on site, including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, and doors.
  • Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
  • Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
