About The Position

The Automation Expert is a subject matter expert supporting evaluation of material handling automation, storage strategy, material flow, and warehouse/LOC capacity in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role develops practical recommendations for automation technologies, storage systems, replenishment strategies, and inventory placement while layouts, PFEP data, and operating assumptions are still evolving. This is a two-month contract-to-hire opportunity, with work performed remotely and occasional visits to the client site. The listed location options are Detroit, Michigan, or Kansas City, Kansas; the posting also describes the client location as Kansas City, Missouri. Pay is $55–$60 per hour on W-2.
