About The Position

The Automation Designer will launch their career as a Designer in the Automation engineering group. The role prepares project deliverables in accordance with standards and performs basic technical tasks. Requirements

• Experience with applicable software, including REVIT and CAD, within the employee's discipline.
• Aptitude and drive to analyze complex problems and convey solutions clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to shift attention effectively between multiple projects.
• Experience and desire to work in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment.
• Basic knowledge of engineering practices within the employee's discipline.
• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of technical staff to develop project deliverables, ranging from design documents to technical reports.
• Apply basic engineering concepts, principles, practices, and procedures to structural design, analysis, and investigation.
• Coordinate tasks with teams across the firm and with outside sources.
• Assist the project engineer with more advanced technical activities.
• Use appropriate technology and software, including REVIT and CAD, to prepare project deliverables and production tasks assigned by a senior project engineer or project manager.
