The Automation Assembly Operator is responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities to meet customer product demand. This role involves assembling and modifying products and fixtures, inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing mechanical systems. The operator will work with various components such as robotic grippers, rotary units, and linear actuators, and may perform basic drilling and milling for component modification. A key aspect of the role is the ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and manuals to diagnose and make repairs, adhering to specified tolerances. The position also requires maintaining a clean workstation, following safety rules and policies, and participating in quality improvement programs.
