About The Position

Perform various assembly jobs to molded products within the guidelines of the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS). Work as directed.

Requirements

• Possess basic math skills such as counting and adding.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with others.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Read the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS) to determine what processes and procedures are needed to provide the best quality product.
• Have all required supplies and tools needed to perform necessary job duties as per the MPS. Supplies and tools are provided as needed.
• Report to supervisor’s office five (5) minutes prior to the start of shift for the shift kick off meeting. Do not leave workstation or machine without supervisor's knowledge.
• Verify that the reject sheets and product labels (if applicable) are at workstation. Initial product labels in designated space and verify that reject sheet is filed out correctly.
• Visually inspect product for cosmetic defects such as shorts, flash, silver, and contamination.
• Complete assembly job per work instructions from the Manufacturing Process Sheet (MPS). Work to bid.
• Package acceptable products into boxes per MPS. Packaging may consist of count or weight.
• Report any problems with machine or product to the shift supervisor, set-up technician, and/or inspector.
• Keep workstation, machine, and surrounding area, free from clutter and plastic debris.
• Turn in all supplies, tools, at the end of the shift.
