About The Position

This position requires the assembling of parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to use the metric system.
  • Must be a good communicator.
  • Must be able to use Hand Tools and Power Tools.
  • Must have assembly experience.
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
  • Basic reading skills.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
  • Ability to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow deadlines.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • High School education preferred.
  • Ability to accept and follow instructions.
  • Being open to feedback from peers, Lead and Supervisor.
  • Ability to realize one’s own limitations and seek assistance when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift and Overhead Crane Preferred.
  • ISO experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform Sub Assembly, General Assembly, Wiring, Adjustment and Shipping Prep on LST / ROS.
  • Use torque wrenches to specification.
  • Rig complete machine with overhead crane.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assemble units as directed by the trainer, Lead or Supervisor with quality in mind in a specified time frame.
  • Perform adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation.
  • Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others.
  • Communicate and enforce corporate environmental, health, and safety program.
  • Fill out forms, as needed.
