About The Position

The Automation & AI Solutions Intern works with technology partners and business leaders to design, build, and deploy automation and artificial intelligence solutions for live deal workflows. This hands-on engineering role focuses on production-ready tools that improve efficiency, decision-making, and execution across the investment banking deal lifecycle. The intern is embedded within Baird’s Global Investment Banking Technology Solutions team and partners with deal teams and functional groups to identify manual, repetitive processes and develop scalable automation and AI-driven solutions. The internship is hybrid: the intern works in Baird’s downtown Milwaukee office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remotely on Monday and Friday. The intern must be available full time during the summer (37.5–40 hours per week) and part time during school semesters (15–20 hours per week). Baird is seeking a local student who can start in June 2027. The intern program offers hands-on projects, mentorship, events, networking, and professional development. Baird does not currently hire individuals for this position who now or in the future require employment visa sponsorship.
