In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining plant automation and process control systems, networks and firewalls in a complex operating environment.

Requirements

  • Two years of system and network administration experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Technology
  • knowledge of technical work processes related to network and systems administration
  • Ability to assess outcomes of proposed technical changes and address several technical issues simultaneously
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and best practices in OT environments
  • Experience with computer hardware repair and replacement and computer data center upkeep

Responsibilities

  • Perform work on OT systems/networks for both new installations / expansions and maintain the existing systems
  • Perform daily system monitoring using management applications
  • Build, install and commission new systems to support growth of the infrastructure and maintain existing infrastructure with reliability and cybersecurity
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues, and provide solutions to problems, including after hours on-call support
  • Maintain system reliability by performing scheduled preventive maintenance and creating or updating technical documentation as needed.
  • Adhere to and apply our safety policies, standards and values in the execution of your work
