In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining plant automation and process control systems, networks and firewalls in a complex operating environment.

Requirements

Two years of system and network administration experience
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Technology
knowledge of technical work processes related to network and systems administration
Ability to assess outcomes of proposed technical changes and address several technical issues simultaneously
Understanding of cybersecurity and best practices in OT environments
Experience with computer hardware repair and replacement and computer data center upkeep

Responsibilities

Perform work on OT systems/networks for both new installations / expansions and maintain the existing systems
Perform daily system monitoring using management applications
Build, install and commission new systems to support growth of the infrastructure and maintain existing infrastructure with reliability and cybersecurity
Troubleshoot system and network issues, and provide solutions to problems, including after hours on-call support
Maintain system reliability by performing scheduled preventive maintenance and creating or updating technical documentation as needed.
