About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Technician in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The technician will install, maintain, and repair a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors. The position also involves identifying opportunities to offer customers related products and services, maintaining and submitting job paperwork, and working safely. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered to candidates with verifiable industry experience in automatic door systems. Employment is contingent on successful employment verifications, a background check, a drug screen, and a driving-record check if applicable.

Requirements

• AAADM Certification is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role, or in a role requiring mechanical and electrical aptitude, preferred.
• Experience with access control, hollow metal, or automatic doors is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding, and revolving doors.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
• Operate in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
