About The Position

As an ASRS Systems Technician, you will be part of a collaborative team that plays a key role in supporting the daily operation and maintenance of the AutoStore Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS). You’ll work with advanced automation technology, ensuring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment to keep operations running smoothly across the distribution center.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or related education is an asset.
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, ASRS systems, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with CMMS and inventory management systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working at heights and following safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight schedules.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within the first three months).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supply chain or continuous improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with AutoStore or other Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operation and monitoring of the AutoStore ASRS system to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately track maintenance activities, repairs, and asset details in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Manage parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available and reordered as needed.
  • Safeguard ASRS equipment through routine inspections and timely issue resolution.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Plan preventative maintenance (PM) activities in partnership with operations to reduce disruptions.
  • Monitor system data flow and identify issues that could impact production.
  • Perform work safely at heights while following all safety protocols and using required protective equipment.
  • Respond to incidents as a certified First Aid provider to support team member safety.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of additional DC equipment such as automated sorters and conveyors as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
  • Meet performance and reliability targets for equipment and systems.
