About The Position
The Automated Line Operator (ALO) operates and maintains the Inpeco Total Laboratory Automation (TLA) system to ensure efficient specimen processing, maximize system uptime, and support accurate, timely laboratory testing while maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a limited-tenure role intended to support the formation, launch, and stabilization of a new company and laboratory. As the organization matures, the role is expected to transition to a permanent infrastructure position within a separate company operating independently from Mayo Clinic Laboratories.

Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the automation system.
- Load, verify, and route specimens through the automation line.
- Perform routine maintenance and document equipment performance.
- Respond to system issues and coordinate with laboratory staff and technical support.
- Maintain supplies and comply with SOPs, quality, and safety requirements.
