About The Position

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our production team as an Automated Fabric Cutting Machine Operator. The position involves operating a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0 automated cutting machine used to cut jersey, fleece, knit and other textile fabrics. Previous Gerber or CNC experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable using computers, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely work around a Gerber Paragon HX 2.0
• Prepare and set up cutting jobs
• Load and position textile materials
• Select and verify production jobs and cutting files
• Operate the automated cutting process
• Inspect cut parts for quality and accuracy
• Recognize and resolve common cutting problems
• Perform routine operator maintenance
• Follow production and quality procedures
• Work with different types of jersey, fleece and knit fabrics
• Maintain accurate production records
