About The Position

Quirk Auto Body is seeking an experienced Damage Auto Body Appraiser to join its busy, dealership-based repair shop in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role involves assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, coordinating repair-related parts and appointments, and keeping customers and insurance companies informed about repair progress. The position is full-time and performed in person. The listed pay range is $17.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license.
• Licensed Massachusetts auto appraiser.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and insurance personnel to determine damage repairs and estimated costs.
• Order, track, and check parts.
• Schedule customer appointments.
• Communicate repair progress to customers and insurance companies.
• Write estimates and supplements and submit them to insurance companies for approval.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.
