About The Position

Autonomous vehicle safety driver needed for Dallas Texas full time $25 per hour plus benefits. Drive and test autonomous vehicles on public roads. Monitor vehicle performance and remain ready to take control when needed. Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures. Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks. Record driving observations and report issues. Communicate with riders, engineers, and operations teams. Safely respond to unexpected road, traffic, or pedestrian situations.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Driver's License (3+ years)
• Clean driving record
• No DUI, DWI, or drug/alcohol-related offenses within the last 5 years
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Quick decision-making and reaction skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable driving in varying weather and traffic conditions

Nice To Haves

• Autonomous vehicle, EV, or professional driving experience
• Rideshare driving (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, Delivery Apps)
• Driving instructor or safety-focused driving background
• Knowledge of vehicle technology or control systems
• Defensive driving certification
