About The Position

We are looking for an Auto Tech – General Service to join our team at Manheim, a Cox Automotive company. If you love working with cars and are eager to learn from the best in the biz, this is a great opportunity. This role involves performing light duty maintenance and gaining familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices. The work schedule is Sunday-Thursday, Day Shift.

Requirements

Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection.
Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement.
Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
Comply with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.
Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed.
