About The Position

HUB is seeking an Auto Team Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys the challenge of growing the business while investing in the development and success of others. This role is responsible for accurately handling business calls and insurance-related documentation and processing, which includes training and coaching employees. The Team Lead will utilize tracking systems and reports, maintain daily service standards and goals, lead team members, and take ownership of higher-level responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • A minimum of 2 year’s auto insurance experience
  • Ability to prioritize, time manage, and follow up as promised or directed by Manager
  • Willingness to change work time/schedule to balance support during open business hours and high level of dependability
  • Steady leadership, mentoring, and/or team building skills
  • Motivated to learn new things or fast-paced as a means to help coworkers adapt to changing business needs, environment, or department goals.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Demonstrated success of being a team player.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor employees within the Auto Team and support management.
  • Communicate goals, vision, and procedures developed by leadership.
  • Assist with training and coaching new hires and/or existing employees.
  • Assist Auto team management (or oversee goals in absence of management onsite) to ensure daily service commitments are met.
  • Answer client and associate questions, handle service/call escalations, and answer phone inquiries.
  • Participate in or complete special projects, which might include training, system/process enhancements, service improvement, or other assigned tasks with Manager’s oversight.
  • Maintain necessary relationships with clients and employees to ensure quality service standards are met.
  • Assist in adding topics or creating processes for team meeting notes or department procedures manuals.
  • Motivate team members by acting as a good role model and providing positive support.
  • Utilize current centralized reference tools to make decisions or follow appropriate procedures related to Auto.
  • Provide assistance to walk-in Auto clients as required.
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
