About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Shop Helper to perform general duties that support the production shop and help teammates complete repairs in a timely manner. The role includes maintaining a clean and orderly production area, parking lots, and grounds, as well as performing minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary. The Auto Shop Helper follows Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures. The position provides hands-on experience in a production shop.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
• Able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping in the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, and assisting with spray booth cleaning.
• Return tools and equipment to their proper locations.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary.
• Follow Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures to support timely repairs.
