About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Shop Helper for its Service Center in Miami. The role performs general duties that support the production shop and help teammates complete repairs in a timely manner, following Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness and order of the production area, parking lots, and grounds, as well as performing minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when needed. The position offers hands-on experience in a production shop.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, and disposing of unwanted parts.
• Assist in cleaning spray booths and return tools and equipment to their proper locations.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
• Perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary.
• Follow Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedure and center procedures.
