About The Position

Fleet Farm is hiring an Auto Service Technician to join its Auto Care team. The position is suitable for experienced technicians as well as people looking to begin a career in automotive service. Technicians perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, conduct road tests, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard of quality. The role also involves providing excellent customer service and ensuring completed work meets customer needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service or automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and oil filter changes, tire rotations, and vehicle courtesy checks.
• Check and replace fluids, air filters, bulbs, and wipers.
• Install batteries and check charging systems.
• Mount and balance tires and perform wheel alignment checks.
• Install and replace components such as shocks, struts, brakes, suspension, steering, and accessories.
• Road test vehicles and ensure services are completed safely, accurately, and with a high degree of quality.
• Provide excellent service and ensure work meets customer needs.
